TRAINING CANCELLED
|
Due to this weekend's East
Districts, it has been decided to cancel training for all squads on
Saturday and Sunday 1 & 2 December.
Furthermore, Friday
evening's training at Lochgelly will now only be for 1 hour.
All squads are now
invited to attend The WIng, IHS on Wednesday 5 December.
Youth upwards 6-8pm,
Minors - Dolphin squads 7-8pm.
Our squad photo session
will take place then. Please remember to bring you medals, cups & trophies
with you plus InCAS T-bag and hat if you have them.

InCAS Top Club at
Fauldhouse Gala
Sunday the 11th
of November saw InCAS compete at the Annual Fauldhouse Penguins Mini
Meet. With teams from the
North, West, Midlands and East competing the standard was high.
InCAS, despite not fielding their strongest team had a
magnificent days swimming with a total of 8 Golds, 8 Silvers, 7 Bronze
and a further 16 Finalists and to top it all off – Top
Club Trophy.
The morning session
for 8 and 9 year olds saw InCAS totally dominate.
In the boys 8/U Hayden Moffat won 3 Golds and a Silver.
Team Mate Joe Nally won 3 Bronze. Andrew Duncan, swimming in
only his first level 1 gala, won 6th place for back stroke.The
girls 8/U saw 7 year old Suzanne O’Brien win Gold in the 25m Back
and Silver in the 25m freestyle.
Amy Marshall won silver in the 25m breast and 4th in
the 25m freestyle. The 9 years age group saw Tain Bruce win Gold in
the 200m Freestyle, Silver in 25m Butterfly with an additional two 4th
places and a 6th place finish.
Clubmate Morven Rae-Seaman won bronze in the 200m freestyle and
finished 6th in the 50m backstroke. The
last race of the morning saw the InCAS A Team storm to a superb finish
in the mixed relay. The afternoon session, for 10 and 11 year olds,
saw 10 year old Conor Nally win Gold in the 50m fly, 5th in
the 200m free and 6th in the 50m back. The girls 10 years saw Erin Brown win a 4th place
in the 50m back. The girls 11 years saw Chelsea Lawson win Gold in the
200m free, 2 Silvers (50m back and 50 m breast) and Bronze 50m fly.
Team mate Laura-Kate O’Brien won 2 Silvers, one Bronze, a 4th
and 5th place.The relay team of Laura-Kate O’Brien,
Chelsea Lawson, Lachlan Edwards and Conor Nally won the Silver. Eleven
year old Lachlan Edwards managed a Bronze, a 4th place and
6th place finish.
A
total of 39 lifetime bests were achieved.

I have just been notified
at 1550, Monday 19th November 2007, that The Wing is closed due
to a heating failure. There will be not training this evening for all
squads normally attending at The Wing. Please accept our apologies for
the short notice. It is out with the Clubs control.

Christmas Party

That time of the year is fast approaching once again!
We are delighted to invite you, as an InCAS's swimmer, to this years InCAS Christmas Party. This event has been made possible through all our efforts with fund raising this year. Thank you to Queenie Bruce, Tain's mum, for
organising this party and to our fund raising team for all their hard
work this year.
Details are:
InCas Christmas Party, Wednesday 19 December 2007 6pm - 8pm, The Wing,
Inverkeithing High School.
Disco / Pool Party. A light buffet will be available.

I am pleased to inform the
membership, that we now have a new club secretary. Linda Rae was
officially elected by those present at the committee meeting on
Tuesday with a unanimous vote. We thank Linda for taking on this vital
