INCAS
WATER POLO |
Menzieshill
Whitehall V InCAS Monday 18th May
InCAS latest game in the Water polo League was a Monday night
visit to Dundee. The match promised to be tough and Menzieshill
proved their point going
ahead early in the first quarter. The away team rallied after that
and leading from the front, Captain, Darren Campbell made the
score at 1-1 at the end of the first.
In the second period, InCAS continued to apply pressure and good
finishing from Darren (2) and Chris Campbell (1) saw the home side
punished. Menzieshill applied a lot of pressure in the third
period creating a number of opportunities before forcing a penalty
which was saved by Darren. Breakaways from Neil Vidler and Edward
Haroun, in his return game, were eventually rewarded with Edward
scoring late on to take the game into the fourth quarter with
InCAS in a comfortable 5-1 lead. The superior fitness of the away
team showed in the final period, Menzieshill created little while
Darren and Chris Campbell added one a piece before Daniel Woodall
tied up the game, 8-1 to InCAS.
Team: Donald Griffiths (GK), Neil Vidler, Nicola Tate, Kerry
Falconer, Daniel Woodall, Chris Campbell, Edward Haroun, Stuart
Hamilton, Darren Campbell
