PARENTS EVENING
|
The
club will be holding a parents evening
Monday
5th
October
at 6.15pm sharp.
The
venue is the Wing, Inverkeithing.
Parents of all squads are welcome to
attend.
This is an informal evening (bring
children
if need be) which will be aimed
at
getting to know a little more about
InCAS
and the working of the club. This
will
be an ideal opportunity to meet the
coach
and committee, and ask any
questions.
Items
for discussion are social events,
fundraising,
training, new courses, club
structure and committee.
Please come along for a chat and join in,
everyone
welcome.

Mags
Meet
|
Two
young INCAS swimmers competed in the annual MAGS meet at the
Grangemouth Leisure centre on Sunday 13th September 2009.
Young 11yr old Tain Bruce had an outstanding meet with two
golds, 1 silver and a 4th place medal, top 11yr old female
award and four excellent lifetime bests out of four swims.
Tains golds came in the 100 fly 1.21.26 & 100m front crawl
in 1.09.67. Tain then went on to win silver in the 100m back
crawl in 1.22.27 and finally fourth place in the 100
breaststroke in 1.32.91.
The girls 12 year old age group saw Isla McLeod had an
excellent days swimming with 3 swims, 3 lifetime bests and a
5th place medal in the 100 front crawl final.

October Swim Camp

InCAS
are planning on running our usual swim camp for Dolphin
Squad and above over this October holiday. Please
select your prefered date.
Week 1 is Monday 12th October - Friday 16th October
Week 2 is Monday 19th ocotber - Friday 23rd October
Normal hours are daily as follows
10-12noon - swim training
12.15 -12.45 pm - lunch (bring your own),
1pm -1.45 - land training
2-4 - swim training
The cost is £75 per week and a deposit of £20 will need to
be paid no later than Monday 5th October to either Garrie or
Mia. Spaces will be limited so please confirm which week is
suitable asap by emailing Garrie directly. The
camp will only run if the number of swimmers is
suitable.

Congratulations to
Andrea who
recently swam the English Channel in a phenominal time of 11
hrs 35 minutes. This is the Oldest female crossing and third
fastest Scottish time.

Land Training -
(Yoga session) is available on Sundays for all swimmers aged
11+ who are currently in Scottish Feeder squads and above. The
session will start at 12.15 at the Cally and end at 12.45 to
allow for swim training to commence at 1pm.
