Inverkeithing Competitive Amateur Swimmers - InCAS

Welcome

A very warm welcome to Inverkeithing Competitive Amateur Swimmers Club - InCAS. This website is aimed at providing all current & future members with information about the InCAS Club and who to contact for further details.

The InCAS Club was formed in 1975 and is based at the Inverkeithing Community Centre. For training, we currently have access to four swimming pools, namely HMS Caledonia (Rosyth Naval Base), Kirkcaldy Swimming Pool, Lochgelly High School and of course Inverkeithing Community Centre (The Wing, Inverkeithing High School). All four pools provide the club with excellent training facilities which help us achieve our goal:

"To provide and support coaching and training facilities which allow and encourage amateur swimmers as individuals, or collectively as a team, to attain the highest competitive standard within their capability".

Our swimmers compete at all levels, from graded events for the young and inexperienced swimmers (Novice Galas) to open events for the more experienced swimmers (National Galas). One or two of our top swimmers, in addition to their club galas, compete at national level representing their country at Water-polo and Open Water. We also boast a Para Olympian in our top squad who currently holds a world record.

The InCAS Club is affiliated to the Scottish Amateur Swimming Association (S.A.S.A.) and is one of several clubs in the Fife Region associated with the East District.
