Garrie Roberts
(Head Coach)
Garrie
Roberts joined InCAS in August 2001 bringing with him a wealth of
experience. His enthusiasm to see youngsters succeed through hard work has
resulted in InCAS most successful period.
His
credentials as a top coach are impressive, spanning over 30 years. During
this time, he has been involved in various community and club programmes
throughout Fife. He has coached disabled swimmers to represent their
country in the paralympics and has recently enjoyed seeing some of his
current swimmers participate in the Commonwealth Games held in Manchester.
Since
implementing his training schedules, InCAS results in competition have
improved dramatically resulting in personal lifetime bests being set and
surpassed regularly. He has instilled a self-belief throughout the squads
that hard work and determination will bring success.
He monitors
all squads and gives advice on everything from stroke technique to dietary
requirements.
Our other coaches are Tony Doubleday (assistant coach).
Parental help is always welcome poolside to assist our
coaches. If you wish to assist us with our training programme, please
